CampOUT 2013

1campoutThe 18th year of enjoying great friends and good times on this magical private campgrounds in Dolores Colorado. We welcome all gay and gay friendly guys and girls to join us in the lake and around the bonfire. It is your opportunity to make some casual buddies and some lifelong friends

July 18th officially kicks off the weekend of fun in the sun on the lake. The weather last event was beautiful and we had a great attendance of over 70 people camping over night.

The Four Corners Regional CampOUT is hosted in a unique gay camping ground that hosts a truly wonderful 5 day long get away. Your next fantastic weekend is just an hour drive from beautiful Durango Colorado, on the shores of McPhee Reservoir. Campers can  make their weekends as wet, wild and wonderful or as relaxing and reinvigorating as they want them to be. What happens on the lake stays on the lake!

The Four Corners Regional CampOUT event provides a friendly, safe, GLBT-affirming environment for everyone, from everywhere. Pitch a tent or bring an RV and join us for a week of making new friends, entertainment, and outdoor adventure. Get ready to enjoy our community and the great outdoors right in our backyard.

See you at CampOUT 2013!

Portion of Proceeds from sales of “THE WALK” to Benefit Sedona Pride

The Walk and your personal journey, begins with an understanding that, if you are to succeed in attaining your personal highest and best, of actually realizing and living your life purpose, you must first embrace a beginner’s mind. This distinct state of being, virtually wipes the slate clean as to everything you think you know, the illusion of knowledge, and one of the greatest obstacles to you moving forward. In effect, you’ll be required to get out of your own way. It is this, that will lead to you experiencing a dramatic transformation a virtual, no, literal, changing of your heart. There will surely be obstacles along the path, but know this – you will most assuredly be making progress and I’ll be guiding you always. I will be giving you regular counsel as needed, and GRACE will always be present to empower us both, and that GRACE will lead to TRUTH and that TRUTH, will lead to PURPOSE.

Grace! Now there’s a word that I believe is grossly under-appreciated and stunningly misunderstood, at least, when DIVINE GRACE is in mind. I have contended for years, that if we were able to fully grasp, the unfathomable depth of this attribute of THE CREATOR, and how it has always and everywhere impacted our lives, we would collapse to our knees in worship, and would dare not, no, could not, utter a word. As we witness our petty self-serving issues evaporate before our eyes, one by one, we will be enabled to see just how trivial they were. For the first time, our hearts would be in tune with HIS.

What about Truth? Don’t we always want to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? So help us G-D! If everything you presently believe to be true, is a lie when would you want to know? This journey will reveal to you, perhaps for the very first time in your life TRUTH. Not the truth that is passed down from family members, nor the truth that emanates from wanting to be accepted by others and certainly not the truth that the entertainment media espouses but true TRUTH that is revealed to your change of heart – by THE AUTHOR OF TRUTH!

Perhaps one of the most asked questions by all of human kind is this "What was I uniquely created for? What is my life Purpose? As we journey together, when merged with your change of heart, and coupled with the presence of bottomless GRACE, armed with clear and unmistakable TRUTH, you will know your purpose because you will sense a fire within, such like you have never known! Trust me when I tell you this you are going to be more than mildly surprised at what you discover. I was!

What force could have changed the heart of a person that at one time, was a sworn enemy of the gay/lesbian community, convinced that they were a scourge upon the earth, a blight upon all that was Holy, a people condemned to eternal darkness, to one who is now a committed advocate, a person proudly proclaiming a message of equality and a level playing field? One word: GRACE.

bookpromoAlan Freedman a man with an enormous heart and a human being whose enthusiasm for giving shows in a myriad of venues and ways will launch his new book “The Walk” where a portion of the sales will be donated to Sedona Pride.

Alan shares the story of the announcement from his daughter who says “I am Gay” and how his understanding of the GLBT community grew after that announcement and reading of “the book”, called: Is the Homosexual My Neighbor? A Positive Christian Response.

Alan’s book “The Walk” asks – If everything you now believe to be true was a lie – when would you want to know? When it comes to some of the most impassioned, hotly-debated and divisive issues of our day, when was the last time you honestly questioned yourself, as to why you believe what you say you believe? Have you ever? This takes great courage! However, you must – if you are to discover your life purpose – what you were uniquely created for! The Walk® is both a simulated guided tour and a personal journey, providing at designated “rest stops,” opportunities for quiet introspection and courageous self-questioning.

To purchase the book, please begin the process of filling out the form below.

For every  purchase of “The Walk” you can receive a FREE Gift of  “The Last Time ” Ebook by Alan Freedman and know that a portion of the proceeds goes to supporting Sedona/Verde Valley Pride.

After your purchase, you will receive an email with links to retreive your FREE E-COPY of the book “The Last Time” also by Alan Freedman. You will need your Amazon ORDER ID# to complete the process for the free download.

There is coming a “last time” for everything and everyone that we love – there are no exceptions! Whether getting a precious child ready for another day at school, investing time with a dear lifelong friend or family member, taking a much anticipated once-in-a-lifetime vacation with a grandchild, a birthday or anniversary celebration, or simply lovingly caressing the silk-like ears of a 4-legged family angel and so much more. In the overwhelming majority of cases, there was one common denominator – there was no way it could have been known that it would be – the last time. Your last time could be next!
